The 8 HDMI? over CAT6 Point-to-Point Transmitter (with IR Matrix) offers advanced point-to-point distribution of HDBaseT? signals up to lengths of 100m over single CAT5e/6/7 cable. It supports digital audio formats such as LPCM 7.1CH, Dolby TrueHD, Dolby Digital Plus and DTS-HD Mater Audio. 3D content can be displayed when connecting a 3DTV and 3D source. With the potential for use with any standard 8 HDMI output matrix or distribution amplifier, this solution can work with any matrix / DA to add 8 HDBaseT outputs with only a single power supply. This device has the added functionality of an in-built 8x8 IR matrix system which allows for two-way control of the sources and screens. This transmitter solution can provide Power over Ethernet (PoE) to the receiver unit adding additional integration benefits.
